A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Broad knowledge of security concepts, practices, laws, and regulations.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and interpret security vulnerabilities.
Practical knowledge of operating systems and networks, with the ability to perform security testing.
Ability to work with networking technologies, detection and response techniques, and security investigations, such as Firewalls, VPNs, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, Cloud Security, and Security Audits.
Proficiency in reading and writing English.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and Java.
Familiarity with web-related technologies, protocols, and web security.
Knowledge of database operations and installation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide guidance and training to employees.
Recognized security certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CompTIA Security+ are considered an additional advantage.
